Como projeto de extens\u00e3o, o mesmo consiste na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o da pr\u00e1tica de \u201catelier livre\u201d na universidade, com abertura para um p\u00fablico diverso, sem a obrigatoriedade de v\u00ednculo com a institui\u00e7\u00e3o. A ativa\u00e7\u00e3o desse espa\u00e7o e democratiza\u00e7\u00e3o de seu acesso \u00e9 cara aos objetivos do projeto, assim como as parcerias institucionais, no intuito de diluir as fronteiras dos lugares de saber-poder, construindo estrat\u00e9gias permeadas pela arte. A gravura \u00e9 o eixo central de experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e produ\u00e7\u00e3o de imagens. Os participantes possuem, portanto, o interesse comum em pesquisar a estampa como linguagem po\u00e9tica. Os encontros s\u00e3o momentos de partilha, que ocorrem regularmente. A partir do desdobramento de pesquisa iniciada pouco tempo antes da pandemia de COVID-19, o Mordente se constitui em 2021. O coletivo, composto na \u00e9poca por apenas tr\u00eas artistas, atravessou o per\u00edodo pand\u00eamico e o isolamento social. Nesse contexto, foram produzidas suas imagens germinais. Os encontros aconteceram durante o bandeiramento amarelo e chegaram a ser suspensos algumas vezes em fun\u00e7\u00e3o do elevado n\u00famero de \u00f3bitos. Por esse motivo, as primeiras estampas possuem uma cr\u00edtica social mais evidente, com elementos como a cloroquina, o ex-presidente e as fakenews. Em 2022 o projeto foi contemplado com o III Pr\u00eamio Proex de Arte e Cultura, o qual subsidiou a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais e o aprofundamento da pesquisa em Xilogravura. A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o N\u00f3s Cartogr\u00e1ficos \u00e9, portanto, o amadurecimento de um longo per\u00edodo de forma\u00e7\u00e3o, cuja concep\u00e7\u00e3o da proposta, curadoria e produ\u00e7\u00e3o foi realizada pelos discentes. As estampas s\u00e3o interpreta\u00e7\u00f5es de cartas de Tarot, em refer\u00eancia \u00e0 rela\u00e7\u00e3o hist\u00f3rica entre o jogo de baralho e a gravura, primeiro meio de reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o de imagens desenvolvido pela humanidade. Ademais, o interesse pelas cartas surge em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da possibilidade de \u201cler o futuro\u201d, em um momento de pouco ou nenhum controle sobre o que viria a acontecer no Brasil, considerando o per\u00edodo de incertezas em diversos \u00e2mbitos: pol\u00edtico, econ\u00f4mico e social. Dessa forma, criou-se um jogo dentro do jogo, no qual cada artista trouxe para a mesa diferentes perspectivas.
